Why does garrosh turn evil

Star Wars Marvel. Filed under: Culture PC Windows. Reddit Pocket Flipboard Email. Loading comments The Latest. Share this story Twitter Facebook. After defeating the Sha of Pride, the Adventurers head to Orgimmar to take down the evil Garrosh once and for all. After fighting all of Garrosh's allies, adventures fight Garrosh and defeat him. Thrall prepares to execute Garrosh, but Varian tells Thrall that Garrosh's fate is not his to decide.

Taran Zhu takes Garrosh to Pandaria to stand trial for all his crimes, much to garrosh's dismay. Thrall, after telling Vol'jin that since Vol'jin kept the Horde unified, makes Vol'jin the new Warchief, which was supported by all the Horde leaders.

Before he can stand trial for his crimes, Garrosh escapes his imprisonment with the help of the bronze dragon Kairoz. Determined to exact vengeance on all the races of Azeroth, Garrosh travels back in time to before his father drank the blood of Mannoroth , which caused the orcs to fall under the control of the Burning Legion.

He alters the timeline by presenting them with modern technology, which results in all the Orcish clans uniting under his father Grom, forming the Iron Horde. Garrosh then plans to create a gateway linking Azeroth with the new timeline, allowing the Iron Horde to invade and for him to exact his vengeance. Finally fed up with Garrosh's warmongering, Thrall faces him in a final mak'gora in which the shaman, despite fighting well, was physically overpowered but, due to his shamanistic abilities he restrained Garrosh with a gigantic earth hand, but before he could kill him, Garrosh said that Thrall made him what he really wanted to be, but Thrall dismisses his words, saying that it was his choice then strikes a lightning bolt down on Garrosh, killing him.

This however did not stop the Iron Horde. His death was shown to also further alter the timeline, causing Grommash not to drink the blood of Mannoroth at all out of grief surrounding Garrosh's death.

Instead Gul'dan gives Kilrogg Deadeye the drink which he accepts, despite Grommash's plea. After Garrosh's mortal death, his soul was imprisoned in the hellish afterlife of Revendreth as his punishment. He was tortured by the venthyr to extract his anima since he was a valuable "workhorse" to sustain their anima drought. He was eventually thrown into the Maw, where Soulrender Dormazain continued to extract his anima to fuel the Mawsworn armies.

While Garrosh was very resilient towards his torture, Dormazain looked forward to finding the weakness in him. With the defeat of the Soulrender, Garrosh broke free of his bindings. He then furiously stated that he never submitted because every action he did, he would proudly make again. Garrosh then destroyed both himself, and Dormazain, letting loose one final war cry.

Mogu Lei Shen Shan Bu. As for the topic, I think the misstep with Garrosh was his arc in Cataclysm. There should have been some significant Alliance aggression that exacerbated his views on Orc superiority. Imagine if Anduin could have redeemed him, or if Warcrimes put more emphasis on his the flailing hypocrisy of other Horde leaders throwing Garrosh under the bus.

The problem with turning horde characters villian thAt hijacks the entire faction is that it is a story that has already been told and a lot better than in BFA. I was very unhappy with the Garrosh storyline at the time, and I still think it was a bad direction for the Horde story as a whole. But BfA has really made me appreciate how much better it was handled by comparison.

The alliance has had the same identity since vanilla. It felt like we were fighting for a different and evil faction. Evil horde again. Villain bat. Without burning down a tree full of innocents or making PoWs fight each other in front of their children for amusement. The story as a whole would be a x better if the Horde kept its identity. Now we are stuck wondering how the heck can horde characters save the world and be heroes after we let Teldrassil happen?

What happened to Garrosh Hellscream? How did Grom Hellscream die? Is Garrosh Hellscream in Shadowlands? Is Garrosh Hellscream in Revendreth? Why did garrosh turn evil? Is garrosh good or bad? Why is garrosh not green? Why did thrall step down as Warchief? Why is Thrall called Green Jesus? Does Thrall have a son? How did thrall lose his powers? Who is Warchief now? Is thrall durotan son? Is thrall no longer a shaman Shadowlands?

Is thrall a shaman anymore? What happened to Thralls shaman powers?
