They are humorous--for example, in the same building where Christ is having the Last Supper you can peek through a window and see somebody watching tv.

This is perfect for my son, because he hates the traditional and boring pictures of most bible books. One thing I did NOT like is that Judas has black hair, but Jesus and the other apostles, and pretty much all the other people in the entire book, have various shades of brown hair.
